# Is there a difference in the way in which the properties of Revit objects are handled, depending on whether they are .rvt or .rfa?

It is possible to upload .rvt files using the plugin.

The only difference when uploading .rfa files is that you have to choose the object you want to upload after clicking the “Publish object” button.

After this, the dialog box for choosing object properties and variants will open as normal.
